A Documentary about Australian Artist Hego’s journey to tell an undertold story of Australian history through a mural in the Indigenous heart of Sydney, of a WW1 Aboriginal soldier of colossal proportions and its positive impacts on the wider community.
Focused on telling stories with images specifically with the process of 'wheatpasting' (large scale postering). Completed mural of journalist Peter Greste on the MEAA building (also writing his first op ed piece for The Guardian, Australia. In October Hego finished his first American mural of the "Black Cowboys" of North Philadelphia. He is completing a series of murals in North America focused on highlighting positive contribution of unique community groups in their neighbourhoods. Hego studied architecture for 3 years at the University of Sydney before quitting to personally manage the first American cricket clubs tour to Australia, a club which was formed as a gang intervention program in South Central, Los Angeles.
Previously worked with Hego to come up with the short film #magneticstreetart about his unique 'catch and release' magnetic street art pieces. Tim is a full time video professional, working regularly with Destination NSW, SBS & NITV as well as various private clients as a director, cameraman and editor.
